Need help with quitting....

Hello.

SWIM needs help with withdrawls. SWIM has been using for about 3 years now and thinks that it is time to quit because it is costing WAY to much. SWIM used 375mcg(5x75) of fentanyl from last Friday to this Tuesday. Took a 2 day break and could NOT sleep the 2nd day, about 4 hours of sleep. SWIM got ahold of 2 40mg Oc's to cope with the W/d's. They helped a little but barely made him feel "normal".

SWIM has done a little research on this site and others and looked into suboxone. SWIM was thinking about going to the doctor to try and get on SOMETHING to help. SWIM is spending all his money on opiates, can't work with out them, and tried stopping on his own, but the W/D symptoms are so bad, makes it really hard if not impossible to stop and continue working at his job.

Also, What should SWIM say when calling the hospital when setting up an appointment? They always ask what kind of appointment, just be brutally honest and say opiate dependence? I'm in a really small town (10,000+/- people) and have only one hospital.
