White House Polls Shows Marijuana Legalization More Popular Than Ever

US (ChattahBox) – According to story published by the marijuana-reform support site, Norml, marijuana legislation has been voted the most popular question in a White House poll.

The poll, which was run on the White House’s website in the last week of May, asked about what issues created the most issues in the general public. Marijuana reform ranked as the highest, showing a shift in public opinion.

For the first time, legalization (especially in a medical context) seems very likely, and the people are supporting an open and supportive discussion.

“For the Obama administration, marijuana law reform represents a political opportunity, not a political liability,” NORML executive Allen St. Pierre commented on the pole.

“Federal lawmakers from both parties would be wise to embrace the results of this and other polls and act accordingly.”

This makes SWIM very hopeful. For the life of her, she can't understand why people continue to support illegality when there are countless and countless evidence stating that it is not harmful. SWIM just hopes that people look at scientific proof instead of social stigma.
