Will Phalaris arundinacea still have much effect if you don't combine it with a MAO inhibitor, like Peganum Harmala? Anyone tried it? It seems a bit cumbersome having to combine them, what with estimating the dosage and all. When I am about to have a trip, I want to focus entirely on my experience, without having to be distracted too much by practical matters. Also, I don't have a mortar to grind the Peganum.

You would have to smoke it, DMT is broken down in the stomach without an MAOI present in the body. SWIM does know that some strains of phalaris can be put through a juicer and have the extract dried out then smoked with suprisingly potent effects, but this would require a potent strain of phalris. check out erowid's phalaris [age for more info.
