Experiences - Near overdose...wow

Start the night off SWIM and his friend have 5 pills. They each take 2.5 SWIM had ate right before, his friend had not.

They start driving to a tiesto concert, his friend is already starting to roll in the car after 25 minutes. SWIM feels nothing.

He gets to tiesto, orders 2 vodka redbulls, he feels a little looser, but still isn't rolling as hard as his friend. He gets 2 more pills, chews them up, and drinks another vodka redbull.

2 seconds later, uh oh!!! SWIM is starting to roll, and HARD. He is gurning, talking with a lisp, can't even complete sentences, and sees some guy have a seizure.

The concert is over, and swim is walking to bar with his friend. He is determined, he gets to the bar and just crashes on the couch, fingers tingling, not sweating. uh oh, time for more water.

His whole body starts convulsing, his eyes roll back and he feels so good. Drinks more water.

Time to go to another rave, swim has lost concsious at this point, but can only remember his mouth being as dry as sandpaper, and being naseaos. He gets to the rave dances shortly sits on the floor, his limbs are numb, he goes to the car drinks a huge bottle of water and just lays there never feeling so good in his life.

SWIM had cheated on his girlfriend, he felt horrible, he thought life wasn't worth living, he didn't care if he died knowing that he hurt her so bad. he hopes she takes him back though because swim has had some close calls this past week with oxycontin/coke combo oxycontin/molly oxycontin/xanax, and just blew his entire life savings at the casino tonight.

It sounds like this person is having some serious problems right now. I'm sure other people on the forum have some words of wisdom for you, but I can't say much. I've seen people get themselves into trouble with drugs and with gambling, and it is very very bad. It sounds like he has been given a warning: the warning is loud and clear. Please ask him to heed the warning. I think that he knows that he is in trouble, and that is why he posted here.

For this person's ex's sake, I hope she doesn't take him back, at least not until he does something profoundly different with his life. This sounds like a very, very bad road the person is on: I expect that anyone who tries to follow him on it will end up lost somewhere, spattered with mud.

Does he have any family or (sober) friends that he can turn to? I'm not usually one to suggest things like this, but I think it might be worthwhile to seek professional help. He needs to stop doing drugs, and to stop gambling, immediately. It sounds like he is already broke and alone. Has he hit the bottom? There are only two ways to go from here. I hope he choses to turn back, to find his way out of where he has found himself. The road he is on leads to the morgue. Dying won't change the past. It certainly won't make his ex's life any better. It won't even benefit the undertaker, since it sounds like he doesn't have any money left to pay for the funeral.

Now we all know drugs work different for every person BUT: swim had once taken 1500 mg of mdma in a short period of time (4 hours) and remembers most of the night and was fine. Swim however did not consume any alcohol and never does when rolling. swims guess is strong adverse effects were provoced by alcohol.

Your personal problems should have little to do with the roll, at least that is how it is with swim, quite unlike shrooms for example where it plays a great roll.

Swim doesnt want to sound all preachy, but swim would lay off the drugs for a while since it sounds like some serious stuff that is going on in swiys life. as helikophis correctly stated, swim also thinks swiy should seek consolation with family and sober friends.

Wow, it sounds as if SWIY are punishing SWIYself by being completely nihilistic. SWIM is sorry to hear SWIY is so broken up by hurting SWIYour girlfriend. That really sucks. SWIM has been the cheater in a relationship before, and SWIM knows how it makes one feel like shit, especially if one cares deeply about their S.O.. SWIM would say be easier on SWIYourself, let SWIYourself know that SWIY made a mistake, and that we all have made mistakes. SWIY is allowed be human and err sometimes.
