Combinations - 1mg alprazolam w/ SWIM's usual heroin dose

SWIM smokes generally the same amount of heroin every day.
He hardly ever does benzos, but when he does, its usually .5 to 1mg of klonopin, or 1 or 2 mg of ativan.

Today someone gave him 2 1mg alprazolam pills. He hasn't taken xanax in a lonnnggg time. He's read a lot about mixing benzos and opiates. Most of the dangers appear to be from doing to much of either of them.

So SWIMs not gonna do to much, he's just gonna take his usual dose of heroin (which isn't that much), and 1mg of alprazolam.
That won't hurt him, right?
What should he expect?
He doesn't want it to be overwhelming and knock him out or anything either. Should he maybe just take .5mg alprazolam instead?

He knows a lot of people on here probably take much higher doses, SWIMs just very cautious now about his drug use (he used to be very reckless), and he likes to take smaller amounts to reduce the risk.
