Social - Judged harshly for using heroin

Hey guys,

Swie is not really looking for advice here - just needs to let off some steam as she is feeling pretty angry and upset.

Swie has been on and off addicted to heroin for a while, but she's never done anything to hurt anyone as a result of her use. She's never stolen or borrowed money or done anything to let people down. But her sister has 'disowned' her because she uses heroin. What really annoys her is that her sister (Elli) has been a pretty horrible person to be around for the past few years, and yet Swie has stick by her and tried to be understanding. Yet at the drop of a hat Elli turns her back.

Then today Elli lost a necklace and now also thinks Swie is a thief. She doesn't even need to steal - her habit has always been pretty small as she is for some reason hyper-sensitive to opiates, and she never needs to use more than she can afford.

Well, that's it really. She's already whinged about this to a couple of friends, but then the necklace incident really got to her and she felt the need to rant again. Sorry people. Thanks for listening.

Oh, one addition. She doesn't expect her sister to be all okay with her use. She knows full well it's a bad thing, and can accept that people will get upset and annoyed. But being completely disowned feels like too much.
