Vitamin B-12 DOSAGE for nitrous use
SWIM has read many posts about vitamin B12 supplementation as a way of avoiding depletion with nitrous use, but never does it mention dosage... How much vitamin B12 should SWIM take per cartridge (8g) of Nitrous to avoid depletion (to any extent)? Should this be done before or after the inhalation, or both? I'm 155 lbs. by the way. Also, are there other supplements that should be taken, such as follic acid? Please include the # of mg's of each per cartridge of N2O, and please be very specific. thanks

Swim doesn't know the exact answer to the question but was under the impression that just one dose of B12(standard tablet) would do for a nights NO2 use .i.e it is not really measured out per cartrige. Swim also heard that taking B12 straight after NO2 is ineffective as certain biological mechanisms don't work for a few days but is unsure if this is true or not. Swim personally might take a b12 supplement the day before the day after and then the day after that.
Swim reckons that unless SWIY is taking loads and loads of NO2 on a daily basis then they don't really need to worry about it too much. Swim isn't sure about folic acid, unless pregnancy is an issue, but then Swim wouldn't reccomend NO2 at all if this is the case. |

B12 depletion is pretty minor unless use is extensive and regular. A can of red bull before and after should be more than adequate.

SWIM would suggest a multi-vitamin in place of redbull, but the depletion is indeed usually minimal unless one uses nitrous on a regular basis.
