Effects - disliking coke during winter

swims been using for a year now, in the past 4 months he went trough a heavy use stage and psychological addiction but its been a month since swim got his head straight and its now a Casual-LowDose-User again.
the thing is, winter is begining down here and its extremely cold.
since the cold days began swim hasnt been craving coke at all, in fact whenever he does a few lines he gets sick of it, he's hating the freezing of the throat and the dried up nose after and during the high. He's actually starting to hate coke, during the warm days he couldnt think of going a week or a few days without blow and he wouldnt party or go out unless there was blow in his pocket and up his nose.
now that theres cold out there he just want to be warm and calm and have clear sinuses and breath properly.
swim has been doing benzos for years and lately if given the 2 options he would rather do 1mg xanax and play cards with friends instead of 2gr of high quality snow and clubbing.
whats with this thing? anyone has experienced something similar?
during the summer swim's use was huge, the pool was much fun all high and shit and the nights were crazy

Honeymoon period over swim use to love doing coke every day but after a year just stoped and now hates it and thinks its a waste of good $£
