Nitrous use while sick...
SWIM has been sick for over a week now, but SWIM's about 80% back to health so far. Had a sore throat initially that changed into a chest cough (dry cough mostly, occasional mucus though). Was wondering how safe it would be to inhale nitrous while sick (been waiting so long to do it and getting impatient as it takes SWIM forever to return to health). Would it have a positive impact (i.e. killing bacteria/virus), would it have a negative impact (i.e. further lung irritation, weaker effect), or would the impact be the same as when healthy?

Re: Nitrous use while sick...
Swim sometimes tries to use No2 whilst sick and finds it to be a bit of a waste, less effective. Its better to have lungs free of gunk if possible otherwise it can get quite frustrating.
![]() On a side note SWIM found that one of thier best ever times on NO2 was just before they got sick, the strange lightheaded feeling seemed to compliment it very well. Shortly after SWIM got a cough and all the usual annoying stuff. |

Re: Nitrous use while sick...
swim personally feels that No2 can be good for sickness, such as a sore throat (only speaking from experiences on medical grade tanks swim's friends somehow acquire regularly). the cold (almost minty tasting) air seems to soothe swim's throat, although that could just be swim's head playing tricks on him

Re: Nitrous use while sick...
SWIM recently used nitrous while having a slight sinus infection. The gas was MUCH more hypnotic and resulting in VERY strange sensations in SWIMs sinus/nose/mouth area. Like thos areas were going to slip off SWIMs face. And then "dazzling" feelings pulsing from the tip of SWIMs nose to the back of the head.
The effects produced strong visuals and were quite....intense almost to the point of being unpleasant. |
