Injecting - Morphine Sulphate cr

OK swim has told me that swim has followed the steps for injecting the morphine cr (the little orange ones)and upon drawing the liquid it was brown and there was some gooey sludge left behind,when swim injected he felt hot pins and needles in the face and was wondering if this is normal?Swim was thinking of trying 2 instead of 1 next time if it sounds like it's right.Swim crushed then heated the powder shocked it with cold salt water added cotton waited a couple of minutes and drew back the brown liquid.Swim thanks you for any help/tips.
