Oral use - Making Tea?

SWIM would like to have a intense salvia trip but however he does not like to smoke things. What methods would there be for taking it orally? Would placing some in a mug with boiling water then mashing it and stirring it before drinking the whole lot work, similar to opium tea? Would taking it orally increase the time taken for the trip to happen and would it last longer or anything?

First, UTSE. Second, chewing the leaves and keeping the leaves in the mouth for about 30 minutes will cause a less intense trip than smoking an extract, but the trip will last much much longer. this is not to say that the trip might not be intense for the user, but in contrast to smoking salvia, the come up will be slower and climax later for a prolonged experience. (This is the more natural and in SWIM's thoughts, more respectful way, to use this plant).

hmm if u make tea u must have much much leaves of salvia d.
i tryed a tea made it with around 5g dried leaves and all i get out was a few headaces so u need many leaves the best are fresh...

Correct SWIM if SWIM's wrong, but SWIM believes that Salvianorian A is not very soluble in water, and when consumed through the stomach it is destroyed. SWIY should probably try smoking it or chewing a quid.
