Help with dried pod (identificaton)

Sorry SWIM doesen't have a picture to show you since SWIM broke his camera.

Let me try to explain it.

1. Size of about a golf ball
2. SWim hears seeds when he shakes it
3. light brown with specs of darker brown and black
4. at the top of the stem there is a brown ring

SWIM was going to make tea but didn't know if this was an opium pod. Is there a risk if its the wrong type of pod SWIM could get sick?

P.S. Is it illegal for SWIM to post a weblink to a pod similar to his pod?
