Other - Time of Codeine Effectiveness after CWE ?

How long can codeine stay in the water after the CWE process and not lose its potency?

Swim is asking because he doesnt have the luxury of privacy , so CWE is not something he can do when HE wants, so if he can do it at an opportune time, does he have to drink the "end result" right then and there? or can he save it for a while and drink it later??

Apparently it saves in the fridge for about a week, or in the freezer for a few months, but every time my parakeet has tried this it lost a lot of it's potency.

He used to get lots of ice cubes and a kettle full of boiling water and set up a "lab" in his room.

hahahahaha, SWIM does not have full privacy (living with others) and does the same as you. SWIM has an empty metal chocolate tin, and nips downstairs about 10 times when CWE'ing for hot water, and about 10mins later, lots of ice cubes.

However SWIM used to do it late at night when others were sleeping, so he could use the freezer and be more relaxed.

Oh btw, back on topic: SWIM has used codeine longer than 30hours after extraction and it seemed to be okay.

SWIM made himself some codeine and left in the fridge for about 24 hours, and although he still got a good hit, he certainly didn't get the punch he was expecting. So he feels that maybe the potency does decrease pretty quickly.

Would there be a differance if a hypothetical pet iguana were to mix his codeine with something to make it taste a bit better before he left it in the fridge?

Swim has never tried saving it for more than 12 hours, but he can tell you that this amount of time does not affect it's potency.Longer than this, however, might result in some loss of potency.

Is there any way at all that SWIM can preswrve his codeine after extraction? He's seen people talking about crystalising it, but no-one seems too certain about how good this is?
