Injecting - Getting sick from oxy...

Ok so swim has been doing narcotics for years and loves them,swim started with snorting them but eventualy getting into heroin and needles ect...swim also got into hydromorphone...its so awesome, cant even say anything bad about it,love it!!!
But the only thing swim never tried injecting that he wanted to was oxy...
Swim started with oxy, snorting but never shot untill recently...
Anyways...long story short...got a 20mg oc, removed outer coating of the pill,crushed it up realy good and did pretty much the same thing swim always does with dope and hydromorphone...but heated it up a little like everyone said to do...then through cotton ect...
The problem was,although it wasent anything compared to the rush of hydromorphone,not even close.....
Everything felt fine untill swim woke up the next morning,the only time swim was ever that sick, was from cotton fever or from drinking....but it wasent cotton fever,dident feel the same at all...this was somthing else...
All swim did was puke and puke for like 4-6 hours,any idea why???
And this was the next morning after doing it that night,never had it hapen before but it felt like some type of flu???
Anyone have this hapen? Know why?

And swim wants to add,that this was the first time injecting oc...it was 10mg...and then another 10mg a bit later on....
Swim has injected oxycodone fast 5's before with no problems ever,same goes for hydromorphone and heroin and methadone,have IV'd all of them and never got sick or a flu till swim did the oc....

And have had cotton fever but this was totaly different,so Im confused?
