Codeine and Creatine ?

Any swiys out there know if codeine can clash badly with creatine ? As in have negative effects on swim?

Swim likes to work out and take creatine after his workout, ( swim doesnt know exact dosage but its around a spoonful of creatine monohydrate mixed in water, and then some more water is chugged )

So swim was wondering if codeine use after taking creatine can somehow lead to adverse possibly dangerous effects in the body.

Re: Codeine and Creatine ?

When using creatine it is important to stay hydrated. Drink as much water as you can, and then drink more. There should be no problems with negative side effects if creatine and codine are combined just remember to drink lots of water.

SWIM works out and cycles creatine monohydrate along with many other supplements. SWIM has never had any problems taking opiates including Codine, Hydrocodone, and Oxycodone, when cycling creatine. SWIMS creatine cycles begin with 5 5g scoops a day for 5 days loading phase followed by 1 5g scoop a day for 37 days. Then SWIM takes 2 weeks off from using creatine before resuming this cycle. SWIM thinks that 5g is equall to a teaspoon approximately.

.
what type of creatine is swiy using? liquid or powder? swim thought the whole idea of creatine was to take it 1 hour before a workout, as all the magic happens during the workout, or is swiy on some type of new creatine swim is unaware of? o.o

to be ontopic, swim was using creatine and oxycodone together and noticed only good results with no real hang ups, not that he could see.

Re: Codeine and Creatine ?

Thanks for the responses ,
Swim has been using creatine monohydrate ( powdered form ) for a week now, but DID NOT realize he needs to take it BEFORE the work out, he remembers hearing that he should take it straight after the work out.
Does that really matter ? Before or after?

Alright, well swim also heard that creatine also makes the liver work alittle more intensley by making it produce more enzymes for the muscles ( or something like that ) , plus after when taking creatine or when finishing a workout, our blood vessels are pumping massive amounts of blood and whatever else to our muscles or so it seems , just thought codeine might somehow interfere with the whole process .

Oh alrighty,
Well the science behind creatine my dog thinks that creatine is a natuarally occuring growth product within our skeletal body, imagine if you are sprinting and you get that fatiuge type pain in the legs, thats when your natural creatine runs out, by taking the creatine supplement you will get what my dog *Thinks is 10 seconds more of that explosive power before the musle fatigues, so Great for doing reps with weights also,
the other science is that while you are working out and the creatine supplement is running in the blood it tells the muscels to suck water into the muscles, water retention is the name? going off old memory here, but that is how the muscle growth becomes so fast on creatine, sucking water into them,

ok my dog is old, and he may have a few things wrong in there, but most of it is fact
