SWIM simply lovesthe Coca plant and would like to start his own grow. Problem? Getting the actual plant or fresh seeds.
SWIM doesn't know about SWIYS but SWIM has seen an awful lot of these online vendors selling seeds and cuttings but they ALL seem so shady. Not to mention they want big $$$ for the cuttings or "fresh" seeds. The only thing SWIM can figure is actually going to Peru and mail her cutting to her own home address, lol. ![]() In the meantime SWIM will just continue to order his leaves in bulk for a price (but its totally worth it!). BTW SWIM is not asking for vendor names or whatever. SWIM is just letting others know to be very careful when trying to order the cuttings or seeds, seems like choppy water. Peace and love! |

Re: Getting the plant - Buyer Beware
coca seeds are not viable very long, which makes germination quite complex. seedlings are easier, but they're very easy to kill.
growing coca is actually quite complex, not something which will easily replace a coca drinker's-chewer purchases easily. b |

Re: Getting the plant - Buyer Beware
SWIM once ordered coca seeds (coca var. novo). They were really fresh seeds too and had them germinated in the mail. They arrived in a week and were already ready for planting. All except 2 germinated.
Unfortunately SWIM had to cut his coca growing short because he was stupid back then and did not have the proper materials prepared so most of the plants ended up dying young although some lived (2) and SWIM ended up giving up on them and sold them. SWIM was going to do it again but now sees no point in growing it when he can also buy his leaves in bulk. SWIM is willing to pay the extra money and just get the seeds rather than waiting months for his coca to grow. SWIM averaged .5cm for the growth per day. Under good conditions the plant should of been growing at least 1cm per day. |
