Storing - Ayahuasca Shelf Life

SWIM recently cooked up a batch of aya with mimosa and was wondering if it loses potency if not ingested the day it was cooked, and was ingested say, a month after cooking.

Keep it in the fridge, a month should be fine but SWIM has had aya that lost all potency when stored for 9 months in a fridge

SWIM has a related question. SWIM recently came upon some powdered caapi and dried psychotria viridis leaves that had been around for about a year. Does anyone's hamster know if they are likely to have lost their potency or not? SWIM has looked around the DF site, but finds no mention. Or, if it is here, can someone point SWIM in the right direction? Thanks.

Highly doubt it. DMT degrades quickly in freebase form and ayahuasca form. But in other forms it can be stored indefinitely (fumarate). I'd imagine that while still combined in plant matter there is no chance for degradation.
