Unprescribed Diazepam is a class C controlled drug. Can't see SWIY doing time for that unless SWIY's been a very bad boy in the past and are on SWIY's last warning

A slap on the wrist swim thinks. Could also state that swim asked the Doctor for them (anxiety problems, GAD) and he/she wouldn't prescribe them.. And diazepam is the only thing that swiy helps (tried SSRI, SNRI, etc..) Ant they didn't work, bla,bla,bla.

Never ever say that swiy were selling them or giving them away !!!! Always for personal use and in this case swiy needed them for his medical condition example: GAD (general anxiety disorder)

Swim gets diazepam from his Doctor for GAD (84, 5mg tabs every four weeks) 3x5mg daily, but they are gone within a week..

Class C possession is an either-way offense, but it's invariably heard in the magistrate's court.

The entry point for Class B+C possession, from the magistrate's sentencing guidelines, is a Band B fine, with the range being a Band A fine to a low-level community order. This is based on a first time offender pleading not guilty.

An guilty plea will give a reduction in sentence of up to a third. Other mitigating factors are:

1. Class C drug;
2. Evidence that the use was to help cope with a medical condition.

So I'd say that the likely punishment would be a fine. If a person was really unlucky, then perhaps a low-level community order. Custody is incredibly unlikely for a simple class C possession charge.
