GHB + mephedrone

Swim finds that G and mephedrone go very well together. In light of several recent reports on the dangers of mephedrone (people turning blue, cardiovascular problems) swim was wondering if this combination is safer than taking mephedrone alone, or more dangerous. Swim says he took 150mg mephedrone his first time and got some uncomfortable cardiovascular symptoms (pounding heart, feeling out of breath and tingley fingers) which were eliminated completely by a large G dose. Was swim actually safer or did the g just make him feel better?

Just wanted to bump this thread, great question - anyone have any thoughts on the G + meph combo?

Re: G+mephedrone

SWIM finds mephedrone + GBL to interact nicely. Being a gbl addict, SWIM obviously does not appreciate the effects so much but it dose feel good. The extreme effects that Mephedrone has on sleep means that SWIM can take what has probably been 4.5ml of GBL without feeling tired what so ever. SWIM guesses that SWIM would "G out" very near to (in terms of dosage) overdosing and dying.

In terms of cardiovascular problems SWIM experienced very severe adverse reaction to Mephedrone (the case of blue legs, arms, lips, etc - See HERE) after simply retarded usage patterns. On heavy doses of Mephedrone, SWIMS cravings for GBL dissipate somewhat and, along with the classic Mephedrone inability to manage time/organize at all, SWIM doesn't think he dosed GBL much at all throughout this night. Every other time SWIM has used Mephedrone he has used GBL as normal and have had no negative effects, even at a dose of 450mg one time.

Excessive dopamine caused by lack of GBL might have cause the side effects of Mephedrone to be far exaggerated?

After a night on Mephedrone, SWIM can go to sleep at say 7am on a heavy dose of GBL and wake a couple of hours later feeling pretty good, albeit somewhat tired, slow, and impatient. The day after SWIM still feels lack of cravings and taking GBL feels somewhat depressing - perhaps something to do with Mephedrone's and GBL's different effects on dopamine, and something to do with the morish nature - it feels somewhat similar to the depressed craving when the effects of Mephedrone suddenly end - without the craving. At higher doses of GBL SWIM will feel better, much less tired, and using throughout the day one SWIM can be in a good state until bedtime.

Re: GHB + mephedrone

Do any swiys or lab monkeys out there have experience of combining G and Methylone? Swim is curious about this.

Yeah, my monkey has had lots of experience with this mix and he would strongly recommend it, but obviously be careful =)

The GBL nicely compliments the methylone high - as it does with most substances.

Have fun

Re: GHB + mephedrone

SWIM thinks GBL is good AFTER the MMCAT. SWIM has combined them both and he felt very dizzy and would not recommend combining at moderate+ doses.

Re: GHB + mephedrone

It has been reported in medical literature that GHB when taken with MDMA, can alleviate a number of negative effects such as high blood pressure, as well as acting as a general anxiolytic for the duration of the high and the comedown.

Please note, however, that this refers to GHB and not GBL, which should not be ingested anyway. Polydrug use involving GBL does not normally take into account the lactonase enzyme conversion in-vivo, which can over or under potentiate some drugs.

Many a stimulant user who has taken GBL has found themselves over-intoxicated and sedated by the GBL once the stimulant effects have worn off.

Re: GHB + mephedrone

SWIM finds after a few hours of using MMCAT he has a tired and wired feeling. When SWIM takes GBL this goes away and SWIM feels more normal. That's GBL though not GHB. SWIM has some GHB to try out, he is thinking of GBL >> GHB.

Re: GHB + mephedrone

Also everyone bear in mind that stimulants taken with G will attenuate the possibility of passing out, thus allowing one to OD and remain active - some people have reported blackouts, automatic behaviour and absence seizure activity. Can be very risky.

Re: GHB + mephedrone

swim read that
"GBL works on GABA-B receptors, which hides your dopamine away and then releases it later at a HUGE strength"
so she is still not sure how it works well with stims, particularly mephedrone which works with dopamine too. she read a lots of positive reports but wonders how could these two drugs work together... how can meph work when the dopamine is locked somewhere safe by gbl? sorry, swim was very lazy at chemistry...

Re: GHB + mephedrone

One acts as an aggressor, namely the mephedrone. my friend thinks. He was very slow in chemistry also. also as the two chems interact, although usure of the outcome, both would be acting as an aggressor of a sort, to alter the frequency of dopamine re-uptaken by the neurotransmitters. sorta.. like kinda lol he says.

lupa added 1 Minutes and 43 Seconds later...

the dopmanine as a hormonie, used as a neuro transmitter. the mephedrone can interact with the g to stop as much dompamine being re-uptaken - plus alter production rates. he says be careful as he remebers vey little of g lol
