Smoking - oxycontin 80 questions

SWIM is getting a OC 80 tomorrow and was going to smoke it instead of how he usually uses, which is snorting.
SWIM did some research, and it tells him to just set 1/4th the pill on tin foil and just put flame below it....while he slowly tilts the foil to make it slide as he sucks in the smoke.
I'm scared to waste it.
How should SWIM go about doing this if its his first time?

Thats pretty much it. Just make sure swiy puts the pill in a place where they have enough room on the foil for it to run down while its burning.

In Swims opinion smoking oc is a great way to waste a perfectly good substance. Swim has also read that heat is very destructive to oxycodone in another thread somewhere. Swim wouldn't do it, not from his personal experiance.

SWIM agrees. snorting or eating the pill is much more effective. SWIM hasnt gotten much out of smoking OC except for his last experience but was on a buffet of weed, oc, coke, alcohol, and xanax.

Everytime swim crushes his oxys to snort he always goes meh and eats the powder, its always a more worthwhile hit,

smoking a oxy is really one of the most wasteful ways to take it, no matter how good the technuiqe, its still a waste.. sadly..

I think i made my point. First of all, Oxy has a very high bioavailability as it is. Smoking it is just stupid. It will hit you fast, true, but you will kill most of that precious pill in the process. snort it if you have to. Eat it for the best effect but dont ever put a flame to it.

As mentioned above the behaviorability of oral or nasal is MUCH better than smoking.The effects are VERY short lived and SWIY will more than likely go through the entire pill within 1/2 hr. and really NOT be too impressed.
However if SWIY wants to still try this method for experimental purposes then SWIY has the right idea.Just make sure the flame is NOT too close to the foil to avoid burnning it and go SLOWLY so that your tooter can keep up with the sliding pill.

well said abouve! a person has to hold the smoke in as long as possible too..that may sound simple and stupid to say but no smoke should be blown out when exhaling...a person simply will not get high if they blow out clouds of a 5 dollar hit lol..fucking spendy bastards

swim just wants to confirm.. you don't have to crush the pill or mix it with anything like water or baking soda? just set a chunk of 1/4 80 mg pill on foil, shiny side down, tilt, etc, right? would making it a powder and mixing with water be more efficent?

and btw, everyone saying how wasteful smoking the pill is, is very annoying. swim would think people would "get" how to respond on these forums. the OP said he usually snorts it and wants to try smoking it the best way, implying he knows smoking a pill isn't as efficent.

its funny. swim has been on here FOUR years longer than yourself, swim just doesnt talk much he likes to browse...its very entertaining, educational, etc., after work or when swim is bored.

Crushing and mixing it with water would be less efficent. I know what you mean a lot of posts about lower bioavailability becomes redundant. Swim would never smoke Oxy because of that but I couldnt care less if anyone else did it. After the first post it becomes unnecessary.

Just break in half or use the whole thing if SWIY wants,place on foil and as the flame heats it from below the pill will melt and slide;sort of like it's running away from the flame (Hence chasing the dragon).

Let me give you people some advice... My Monkey has been using oxy's for a few years now and just started back using them daily again after a bit of a problem with them.

This is what she has to say:

"Well i started to smoke them to see what it was like ,i noticed at least 10mg or more produced this great head rush buzz.And now i actually started to prefer smoking it after about 15-20 foil hits of 10 mgs.About 1 20 mg smoked a day

So here's what happened after bout 10 days now,now when i wake up in the morning i have this almost like a headache/pain feeling on the front lobe of my brain everyday.It doesn't go away with asparin ,you feel very uncomfortable/weird and out of it.Almost like a strange hangover/disorientation.A feelin you would do anything to make go away.The only thing that makes it go away.Another hit off foil.Not snorting or swallowing.Only smoking.

I wish i never smoked it ,now im trying to stop today ,but i feel so shitty,Im gonna try and taper the smoking down.My advice "Don't smoke them" especially if you have alot at your disposal.Cause i can tell you .It has f&*cked me up good.Don't let it happen to you."

I've heard from a few people that smokeing it works but i know that heat will destroy many opiates. They have all said it hits you with in seconds like smokeing any thing but they also say they feal alot more from snorting Oxycodone then smokeing the same amount

Plus your smokeing all the binders and wax in them which is very bad for you

Bottom line when dealing with Oxycodone just eat it. With a bioavalibility of around 80% when taken orally theres really no need to take it any other way unless you IV it.

Purdue brand OC80 don't have wax,

they contain hydroxypropyl cellulose.. Nothing is safe to smoke, but these are smokable, HPC is used as artificial tears and as a food additive as an emulsifier among other things.

I don't know about the generics.

That said, people who have asthma problems and other respiratory disorders should probably be careful as it will exacerbate things, which is so obvious it doesn't really need to be said but I have done so anyway

It is addictive though, the rush is amazing...

swim has smoke many oc 80's. the high is very euphoric and the whole rush of smoking something is a plus for some. The high is short lived but strong when its on, like some one said though most likely go through the whole pill in a couple hours or day. swim thinks its fun just chasing that snail down the foil.

in SWIM's opinion smoking oxycodoen is a waste. If you want to smoke opiates, SWIM would suggest opium or heroin.

swim agrees that it isn't worth it, but it'll give swiy a mild short lived high. nothing in comparison to snorting or eating. swim will smoke a small chunk once in a while to change it up.

When SWIM went from snorting to smoking, that is when it went from a fun weekend thing to an out of control addiction. It only lasts for an hour or so with the initial rush being the best thing. Looking back on it now SWIM wasted ALOT of money, SWIM would just recomend trying it with 20mg and saving the rest to snort.

Incase SWIY didnt know this only works with the brand name Oxycontins, not the generics. This might be obvious but remember SWIY sucks off the time release before using.

If ya have any tolerence,just swallow it,or snort it...........

10mg of railing it would get swim high before, and maybe just on the weekends, once a month or so.

now it's 80 mg a day down the foil, it gives swim energy rather than being passed out on the couch.

no 80 the past 3 nights, can't sleep very well, gotta go to the gym in the morning, poor decision swim made to smoke it, he's trying to get it down to once in awhile, but swim and his girl have such great sex after smoking

my pet Donkey just got a RX for 75 20mg oxy's and traded 4 of them for 1 - 80mg. After speaking to several other local Donkeys at a watering hole all agree its BEST to eat it. ... 80mg is being stashed for a rainy day as the over abundance of the 20mg's are just fine for now.
