Opinions - Ugggg! CWE is gross

So SWIM got a hold of 60 5/325 percs and rather than rip apart his liver he decided to CWE a dose. He ground up 6 into a fine powder, combined it with 1/2 cup of warm water, stirred it up and placed it in the freezer for a while until it was cold and the dust settled. He then took a glass and put a coffee filter in it, secured with a rubber band and let it filter through, which by the way is balls ass slow. Once it was done he was left with a clear liquid which he had hoped would be like gold in a cup.

He mixed 3, count em, 3 heaping teaspoons of sugar into the cup and took a sip....bleh he almost puked, chugged down what he could handle and then put in more sugar and this time, some OJ. He got it down and held off on throwing it back up and felt moderate results from it. That was, the nastiest thing SWIM has ever drank , the sugar and the OJ didn't help one bit. How the hell do people do that daily?

Why wouldn't swiy just pour it into like a full glass of something good, say Orange Juice, soda, whatever. Swim has no experience but he keeps hearing everyone say the same thing, that it tastes like shit. Inundate it with something good, eh? Bottoms up mate.

You may be using too much water, and as a result you will be getting more dissolved acetaminophen/paracetamol and more liquid to consume, while getting hardly any increase in oxycodone content. Oxycodone is very soluble in water, and I would say that using 150ml of water should be fine. Using your method, it would take longer to filter, but if you do a preliminary filter through a stocking or similar before the main filter there will be less to clog your coffee filter and the whole process will probably be quicker overall.

SWIM uses concentrated cordial (squash) to cover up the taste of a CWE mixture, and something that you should keep in mind is that a large part of taste comes from smell; SWIM holds his nose closed and downs the solution as fast as he can.

The OP states that he did infact try using orange juice.

SWIM thanks SWIYwho'verepied for the replies, as above, SWIM did use OJ but the smell had gotten to him so his brain knew what to expect and manufactured the smell for him even when he held his nose.

The stocking trick will be useful in the future if he does this again, though percs are not his drug of choice, he prefers his oxy to be apap free in the form of rockers 30mgs, but you take what you can get sometimes.

The Acetaminophen seems to provide most of the really nasty taste, so perhaps not all of it is getting filtered out.

As honourableone mentioned, the smell is what is likely to induce gagging, so clenching one's nose right before and in the process of drinking could be quite helpful.

I also wouldn't recommend adding sugar as this just contrasts more with the bitter taste and might create an even more repulsive taste than what you would normally get. Just take it like a shot of liquor (except with nose shut off) and it shouldn't be too bad.

You want to try doing 400mg's of codeine Bad times indeed. It was what inspired swim to stop the stuff.

Nothing covers up the taste, a minimal amount of water and a good bit of squash makes it tolerable, and you come to appreciate the taste after a while...but only because SWIyou has to!
