How does SWIY deal with the "am i high yet"

Swims turtle has always had a thing for psychedelics and rc's. But hes always had a problem - while coming up he always wonders if hes getting high or if hes taken enough. Invariably, he takes more. Now luckily swims turtle is one of those creatures that can handle and enjoy inhumane doses, and has always been smart enough to know the limits of the particular drug.
But swim wonders if other peoples pets have the same problem? Certainly many of his turtles friends do, but maybe thats why their friends?
So, does swiy recognize this same issue in their friends pets? Anyones friends pet come up with a reliable mind trick to deal with this- or is this just the nature of turtles and something they need to accept?

Yeah, SWIM has often felt impatient many times before and gone for another dose or whatnot, always with brilliant reaults, but SWIM wondered if they would be brilliant anyway with a little patience.

SWIM is now in a second wind with RCs and psychedlios, coupled with a newly found patience (after realising time is getting faster and faster and faster), so just does not think about the passage of time.

Makes it nice when SWIM is halfway through a night and forgot about ingesting anything at all, and comes up halfway thru a conversation/on the way to the shops/in the bath (this is the best!)

SWIM thinks ageing is probably the key, trying to make sure non-work time is spent not worrying, just BEing! SWIM's getting on a bit

SWIM likes to kill the time with some N2O and when shes dosing at home she uses this time to take a shower so she starts out the trip squeeky clean.

well, swim takes a newbie dose when it's his first time, and can tell how long the come-up is. After the peak has hit, then he bases if more is needed, and it's a fraction of the starting dose (if it's psychedelics). But determining if swim's high? At first that placebo effect kicks in, around 30 seconds to 5min. Then it does kick in, which blurs with the placebo effect, and then BAM!!! Swim knows it's definitly kicked it, full throttle.

SWIM usually gets the "am I high yet" thoughts quite often. Or even always if one may say. But when the real high kicks in, he totally forgets the thought and goes on picking flowers, watching the birds in the trees etc

I believe it's just part of the "process"

SWIMs friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend finds this happens most prominently with club-bought E. There's always the thought of "What if it's a shit pill? Am I wasting an hour?", apparently.

SWIM knows the impatient feeling, but can usually be disciplined enough to wait with redosing until SWIM is really sure the first dose is fully working.
That is also what SWIM would suggest to others to do. As convescalent is posting, it is just part of the process

SWIMs clay pigeon finds it easy to deal with himself, but finds it quite funny how some other clay pigeons can spend half the night just thinking and asking others about coming up and their feelings/effects. if you sit and watch paint dry it takes a lot longer, if you watch a clock an hour feels like 2, have something else to do whilst you wait.

My raver friend is always content while coming up. He gets excited as he notices his descent into another layer of the experience. He hates to redose, always sticking to a single starting dose with anything he takes.

Swim's dog hates the "am i high yet", although for him it's more like "i'm not high yet", and he often requires redosing to be satisfied.

Can anyone help with this feeling?
