Opinions - What To Expect With 70mg Adderall XR?

SWIM has been taking Adderall for about a week and a half now. She usually takes 30mgs a day and it makes her a little hyper. But lately it hasn't been doing anything to SWIM. So she was wondering what's going to happen now that she litterally JUST parachuted about 70mgs of Adderall XR. Was it too much for SWIM? How will she feel? How long will it last? Etc...? Thanks.

SWIM decided to just take the rest of her Adderall XR orally and swallowed what was left over from the third 30mg pill. So that's 90mg of Adderall XR.

SWIM took 40mg after a night that yielded poor sleep. It really felt like a decent amphetamine / "ecstasy" trip. SWIM has a good tolerance to stimulants, and 40mg really got him high. He was excessively chatty, which he has only experienced with methamphetamine.

If one takes an amphetamine daily, though, one will of course be more accustomed... 90 mg is not life-threatening, but it will be a heavy heavy trip. One would be advised to hydrate oneself and prep oneself for intense stimulation.

One would also be advised to never jump beyond 2x his or her dose without first trying smaller increments. 3x may become very unpleasant.

Even for a first time user 100mg or more isn't life threatening unless they mix it with other drugs or have heart or stroke issues, before SWIM had a tolerance he took 200mg probably one of the first 5 times and woo was it fun.

If you are doing it for fun don't take it for a day or a few days, for SWIM at least his tolerance for it goes down extremely fast but a day without Adderall for him is a day of ADHD hell and a giant hole put in his wallet from giving in to all the millions of food cravings he will have, of course SWIM tries to avoid that. Adderall XR will last about 8ish hours. The last hour or 2 of it you will start feeling more normal though, when swim takes his Adderall XR the first 2 hours are euphoria and the next hour is happy and the fourth is slightly happier than normal and then once the 2nd dose in the XR is digested the 5th hour is more like the 3rd and from there goes progressively weaker. Taking more generally doesn't make it last longer, it may make you not able to sleep for longer, SWIM can't confirm this since Adderall and meth make SWIM sleepy.

When SWIM used it recreationally a year ago and took 200mg+ in a day SWIM could describe almost as ecstasy really. These days for SWIM to ever feel a high from it he takes 100mg+ but and sometimes it doesn't work, it depends on different factors.

SWIM still isn't feeling anything from taking the 90mgs of Adderall XR. She's been a little more productive, but doesn't feel high AT ALL. SWIM just took 30 mgs more of Adderall XR. She just swallowed the pill. SWIM will be up all night...

chew it up... then swiy will feel it. Take swiy's normal dose then redose with 20 or 30mg every hour until swiy feels it. thats what swim does.

Haha, swim agrees that 2x or 3x the usual dose might be a bit much. But the dose swiy mentioned certainly shouldn't be dangerous, unless there is a pre-existing condition. Since it was XR, that would affect the experience, but swim would be surprised if it didn't produce a nice effect. Swim's roadrunner friend hasn't touched Adderall for a while. But he used to frequently ingest doses between 50 mg - 150 mg of the IR formula. Of course he had been building up tolerance for years. But that still produced a nice buzz for the roadrunner. How did it go for swiy? Swim would be surprised if swiy got any sleep that night!

SWIM didn't feel HIGH at all. She felt a little buzz for not even an hour, but that's it. SWIM wasn't up all night. She took 3 sleeping pills so she could go to school the next day and got 5 hours of sleep. It was pointless! SWIM was VERY sad about this.
