Is it Safe to Take Mushrooms if you are Allergic to Penicillin?

Hi,

I've wanted to try Mushrooms for awhile now but I am alergic to
penicillin, when I had penicillin before my throat swelled up. Do you
think that it would be ok to take Mush with this allergy? Anyone else
have a allergy to penicllin and still take Shrooms?
