Need help from experienced shooters
I have recently come through several months of shooting dilaudid. I picked it up last fall and it became a bad habit which continued until March of this year. Every now and again, I get the itch to go back but it's usually every 2-3 weeks.
That's some background for ya, but most recently I took a Friday off from work early to turn toward where I went to get them. Me and a buddy found out that even though the syringes we used looked clean and we were told they were, we were told after they might have been used. We were understandably pissed off.
But since we didn't have bleach at the time, we used some antibacterial cleaner (stupid i know, but it's amazing what you'll do when it comes down to the wire). Because even though we thought they were clean, we always use something, mostly bleach or alcohol. He assured me that the soap was fine and he'd done it before, but here I am three days later with flu symptoms that came on quickly, the following night after i shot up and i'm thinking that a dirty needle is to blame. i've been achy all over, had a horrible headache, feverish, fatigued and felt pain in my abdomen.
what's this sound like? something more than the flu? hepatitis doesn't onset this quickly, right? and do i absolutely need to see a doctor when i can't afford it? :/
i need some answers. so here are my questions:
-can you use any antibacterial cleaner to clean a needle?
-is this just prolonged trash fever or something else?
-i will get a blood test now, but do i need to immediately rush to the doctor?
