Purity - Ultra-cheap, ultra-crap soapbar in UK

SWIM knows that most UK dope-smokers regard "soapbar" hash as cheap and nasty, even the best quality stuff.
Has anyone ever come across the REALLY bad quality soapbar sometimes sold to scam people? It looks and crumbles like normal soapbar but is about 10 times worse in quality. It also sells in large quantities for tiny sums of money.
Any other SWIMs come across this phenomenum?

Lucky enough not !!! Thats what my dog was telling me.. And his friend bought a 9 bar (9x28 grams) once, and he hid it somewere as it was to bad to sell or use.

Lucky enough when the dog buys he does get some quality, but can't compare it to the Neterlands...

SWIM does think good-quality, well-priced soapbar can have its good points. Not like the really cheap stuff though!

The thing is what swim can't understand is that all (or most drugs) come fro Liverpool to my dogs island and has to go true customs (my dog on a small offshore island) And being caught brings the smuggler into big problems.... So why not bring top quality ??? If someone gets caught they not going to do more time for it.

SWIM thinks it probably comes down to profit. Selling shit hash brings in more money for the smugglers. Doesn't really bother the top men if they lose a man/shipment here or there.

Pacman has heard about this before and had it has a specific name begins with a t he thinks but he can't remember it. It is rubbish and isn't worth buying at all. Or was it called golfball or something. Cant remember

swimmers round my area call bad hash "gash" normaly hard as rock and almost black and the outside of the bar is so shiney u can almost c your face init... tents to be rubbish unless your method is a shottie/bong..... weather it's the same stuff swim dosent know... but the dealer swim use to get it from has been selling it for years and years and still sells the same stuff 2this day the dealer sells to the kids on a local estate which sickens swim! also more recently swim has come accross sum blonde hash which was realy weak no stronger than soap which was realy werd any1 else come accross this....

"Gack" is the phrase SWIM has heard most for bad hash. The stuff SWIM talks about, almost exactly resembles standard soapbar, but is worse. As SWIY says, can be smoked with a bong/pipe, but not in a spliff (pointless). Not sure if this is the stuff SWIYs local dealer sells to kids, but sounds pretty similar. Normal soap is bad enough, without this stuff coming on the market.

SWIM hasn't seen soapbar in a long time thank god, you never know what kind of stuff gets added to it, and sometimes you can taste chemicals or something in it that really should not be in your lungs.

Luckily you can "purify" sketchy soapbar by breaking it up and dissolving it in a clean bucket (or other container) that has warm water inside it (not too hot). Lots of the fake additives will disolve in water, but the good cannabinoids like THC are not water soluble so they'll mostly clump together and stick to the bottom. Then you pour off the dirty contaminated water from the bucket (carefully!) and collect the wet goop at the bottom, and press it carefully between paper kitchen towel. Then leave it to dry in front of a fan of warm air until it dries up into what looks like hash again. There's less of it left, but what's left is clean and is much nicer to smoke.

I think I posted a slightly more detailed guide about this on DF somewhere but I can't locate it right now.

SWIM used to get loads of soap around 10 years ago, variable in quality but when SWIY got some bad stuff, SWIY knew about it it would burn unaided forever due to the amount of diesel in there, thankfully SWIM has also not seen this for years as the scene now is to grow bud in the UK rather than to import, SWIY find people getting good hash like pollens etc but these are a far cry from the soap of yure!!!

heres swims gash cleaning results with great effects and a much nicer smoke....

you can tell the difference straight away...

the black bit is a peace swim hasent cleaned....

There's no effective way of "purifying" soapbar. The stuff is rotten to the core and however you break it down, you're still smoking a highly-carcinogenic, low-quality product. Yes, you can wash away a couple of layers of filth but don't be fooled into thinking your end result is the equivalent of clean, mid-grade hash.

nature boy is correct there is no effective way of "purifying" soapbar but people who are stuck with the dreaded stuff can have a bloody good go at taken sum of the nasty stuff out that in it's self is one step forward! swim would also like to add he never said it was the equivalent of clean, mid-grade hash that is only if you were refering to swims last post nature boy....

Thing is, the stuff SWIM is talking about is even worse than your average bit of soapbar. You could call it sub-soapbar SWIM supposes. It tastes really harsh and gacky, and when one smokes it in a spliff, there is not even the hash-like taste you get from "decent" soapbar.
SWIM must admit that he has smoked a lot of soapbar in the past, partly because weed is extortienatly priced and also because it puts him to sleep better than weed. In a way he actually prefers the buzz of soapbar, for some unknown reason, although not the stuff which he started the thread for. As he said, this stuff is sub-soapbar.
