people finding out

just wondering if any of yall have had to deal with other people finding out about your meth (or any drug of choice) use. one person found out bout swim using and told practically everyone in school. hasn't been a big prob especially since swim graduated and doesn't have to deal with them anymore and plus a large percentage of swim's school does meth too.


Has it started problems for anyone else?

I never really cared about who knows what about me. If they don't like it than they can go fuck off. Alot of my friends are users or have used so it doesn't matter. I'm pretty honest person anyway so if someone asks me a question I give them a truthfull answer...

I personally have had shitloads of trouble from people knowing. Once, i
was in school and tried adderall for the first time. (20mgs non-xr,
orally). I did this primarily to see if i did in fact have ADD, which
would be likely because of my horribly attention span. Well, one of my
friends found out, and suddenly it spread around the school like
wildfire. Then one day, i got in trouble for some stupid shit like
throwing a book at some kid and when i went to the principal's office,
he gave me a really really long speech about drugs and told me that on
occassion, he has said I was "on occassion, taking prescription drugs
recreationally during school hours".



Now this i didnt really care about... they cant do shit from hear-say.
The problem was, he called my mom and dad and TOLD THEM that I was on
drugs often... so now, i get drug tested every once and a while all
because of some fucking rumors and a bit of experimentation. Id
like to see all those kids who drink a beer or take a hit of weed
because they want to not be such "popular people" anymore get in
trouble for that shit.

Unfortunately only one of my friends ( from school) smokes, and has tried MDMA and opiates with me while my others who are now home with me, do not indulge in anything else but alcohol. My best friend smokes weed every once and a while but is so ignorant and believes every stupid myth he hears about other drugs. He tries to tell me I'm wrong by doing drugs, when he has no idea of the research I do and how much knowledge I know about what I'm doing. I love experimenting and consider myself a "safe" drug user but unfortunately I am by myself now for the next few months. It amazes me how ignorant people can be and how they have the nerve to hate on something they have never tried before. I used to get really frustrated and pissed off when people would tell me MDMA was bad and they would never touch it, and in fact if they did their research they would realize it was used in psychiatry years ago and is the safest drug next to marijuana. I can talk for hours about this, sorry for the long post. It just bothers me that people can be so self centered and narrow minded...I try not to argue with them anymore because to me its not worth my time and effort, but its so different when its your close friends...

A girl I used to hang out with turned into a bitch. She told many people that I was a coke head even though I didn't even use. I didn't care though because most of her friends were hooked on coke and opiates so it's not like they could have judged me lol. It just sucks because I wasn't using coke, but yet there wasn't any way to prove that. Stupid people.

No one has found out about SWIM using crystal, the only people that know are ones SWIM wants to/lets know. Back when SWIM's main drug was DXM he'd get caught and whatnot all the time but crystal is easier to hide imo.

Just dont worry about what those people say about you, i mean im assuming you aren't insanly hooked, i would say you do it with some friends and have a good time. They are starting rumors about you cuz in a way they are a little jelous that they spend their friday nights watching tv alone while you get kicks from things they will never know (typical fear and loathing quote). You just have to learn to not give a fuck what people think about you, if they ask you about it just tell them you do it very infrequently and have everything under control, sooner or later people will get bored with the stupid rumor and let you be. Just my 2 cents, im just glad a very good portion of people around me do it and the ones who dont, dont care much, even the huge anti-hard drug people.

swim is proud of his spiritual, medical, and recreational use of marijuana and other mind altering substances and makes it known ... going as far as toking on the steps of his state capital during a protest, and constantly writing letters to newspaper editors about the benefits of marijuana.

however, back in the day, when swim was young and dumb and abused stimulants and opiates on a daily/hourly basis, he did have a situation where his boss found out (through word of mouth) and that caused problems.

Since then swim has learned that if it's something you should be ashamed of, it's probably not something you should be doing.

Just same for me, too. I never try to hide when I used, it is a big princible of mine. I think all the people arround me knows what I am doing, bright people dont say a word about it. I wear T-shirt all the time becouse firstly it suits on me secondly I dont wanna feel like I am hiding the marks on my arms when I inject.

SWIM had a friend who didn't care if her daughter knew about her marijuana use. SWIMs friend felt like the system was silly, and was proud of her choices. SWIMs friend just had her daughter taken away, when she told the school that her mom smoked "that stuff," and social services came to the home. SWIMs friend now understands, it's not what you think, when it is against the law. SWIMs friend learned a hard lesson about what other people think, because EVERYONE knows SWIMs friend lost her child because she smoked in front of her. SWIMs friend lost many friends, and could lose her job, because her daughter did the right thing, she listened to her teachers. Remember others opinions DO matter, unless you enjoy being lonely.

SWIM Got found out one time by his "trusty" cousin, SWIM showed him some trips he had. SWIM was holding a couple of popeyes for a friend and himself. His cousin promptly told his mum who told SWIMS mum and all hell broke loose. SWIMs mum was crying and shit thinking SWIM was some sort of dealer or something. Luckily SWIM said he wouldnt do anything like that again and appeased his mother.
Since then swim has taken almost every other drug.
