Oral use - Found a UK codeine linctus - any good?

Last night SWIM's curtains started talking to him and recounted the following information:


"I guess i'm fairly lucky as i'm the sort of person who can get a very warm enjoyable feeling from 5 x 12.8mg codeine pills (3 x Nurofen Plus and 2 x Solpadene Max = 1g paracetamol, 600mg ibuprofen and 64mg codeine phosphate). I usually do this once or twice per week and haven't experienced any tolerance/WD problems.

I was looking around today at online pharmaces and came across a site called XXX. They carry a codeine linctus that can be found by using their search function (cannot post link due to forum rules)

Does anyone know exactly what concentrations of codeine are in this product and whether any other active ingredients are present? This looks very promising as if this is just codeine, I can use it to boost my regular recreational dose"

Thanks for not incriminating yourself, but discussion of sources, i.e. giving or asking for sources is also against the rules (and this due to the international status of the forum this rule is in place regardless of legality, as are self incrimination and price discussion rules). The only place where source discussion of any kind is allowed is in the sources forum, which requires gold membership to view it.

The rules are worth reading, as they differ from those of most forums due to the nature of the site.

SWIM is similar in that he usually takes 3 x N+ for the 600mg of ibuprofen and 38.4mg of codeine and he will usually take that along with 2 generic co-codamol (1g of paracetamol and 16mg of codeine in total) either at the same time or one hour later to prolong the effects. SWIM finds codeine to be brilliant but it doesn't last long enough for him.

SWIM has read about codeine linctus - usually for coughs etc. Is the product SWIY found just 100% codeine linctus or isit for coughs? If it's for coughs you'll most likely have to drink the entire thing to make it worth your while which will also give you gross amounts of sugar / glycerol and it will make you pretty sick.

If the item you purchased states on it's list of Active Ingredients: "Codeine [insert base here, eg Phosphate]"
..and no other Active Ingredient, SWICurious has struck gold.
SWIM has found Codeine Linctus many the time in England; from his perspective from research in his town, maybe 1 in every 6 pharmacies stock it.
It is usually the same brand containing 15mg Codeine Phosphate/5ml, containing 200mls.
That is 600mg of Codeine! bear this in mind, nooblet, it is Crucial!!!111!!!11!!one!! from the above post, SWIYour recreational dose is ONLY SIXTY FOUR MILIGRAMS. THE LINCTUS CONTAINS SIX HUNDRED.
Doesn't taste awful; but bear in mind it is a cough medicine. Measure SWIYour dose accurately, and please, try not to OD.
