Which drugs give more insight

SWIM finds that some drugs give more insight but is unsure of what to try. SWIM has heard that amphets are a possible for giving a more lateral way of thinking and focused thoughts. Has anyone had any experiences of these feelings that can be shared?

SWIM began using amphetamines years ago as an alternative to cocaine. After a few uses SWIM quickly went from not understanding/appreciating the altered state to really enjoying the drug. SWIM found that he was efficient, creative, artistic, focused and completely "in tune" while using. It took several days after each use for SWIM's thinking pattern to reset and feel normal after each use. However, SWIM really enjoyed his newly found persona, ability to engage in new projects, deeply philosophical conversations and heightened level of self-awareness. It seemed that everything SWIM did on amphetamines was done with sharper precision and remarkable insight.

After a while SWIM realized that the need for his thinking pattern to reset after using was no longer an issue!!! That's when SWIM's ability to be focused, creative, etc began to leave him. He would take air compressors apart at three in the morning, would create a giant mess in his house while cleaning it, had the bright idea to trim his own hair one evening and was completely shaved bald thirteen hours later!

So from SWIM's experience amphetamines were much fun in the beginning but wound up being a bad thing. SWIM thinks it may have been a more pleasant experience had he used in moderation for a short period of time.

For swim cannabis is the substance that gives him a lot of his insight. When high swim can think about things he couldnt even concieve when sober... and in swims case, most of this deep insights are actual valid insights, that remain valid when examined later, when sober.

All of the the psyco-active plant species will provide some access to states of altered conciousness in various degrees, if they are respected and used in the correct setting. Stronger halucenogens ( DMT, salvia, ayahuasca and various fungi ) will take you further into inter-dimensional communication, but there is a requirement for the "receiver" to have cleansed their spirit, if the information transmitted is to be understood.
To be able to decode the information transmitted by the DNA of any herb, plant or fungi , it is good to have a basic understanding of the chemical reactions taking place in the pineal gland, after ingestion has taken place and also to have prepared oneself for the journey beforehand.
After puberty, the pineal gland starts to become calcified and in the western world this proccess is accelerated by our diet, our stress filled lives and the electromagnetic fields surrounding our enviroments.
To be able to interact with the sacred plants on a higher planes it is necassary to "purge" ones spirit from these effects of our material lifestyle.
A week of abstinence from all modern electrical fields, sexual activity, a change of diet to wholesome and natural basic foods and immersion in a purely natural enviroment is a good way to achieve this.
The pineal gland, which is the receiver switch of the plant DNA, starts to become calcified in humans after puberty and we must cleanse some of this calcium before true meaningful interactions can take place.
Once this purge has taken place, the ingested plant DNA has a clearer path to the pineal gland and more information can be decoded.
The plant DNA ingested emits photons, which enter the human pineal gland and close our left brain cicuits ( 1 to 4 ) and turns on right brain 5th & 6th cicuits of our conciousness, opening channels which receive the transmissions in encoded language.
In any interaction with a sacred plant spirit, the basic focus of the messages received is to remind us that we are all the same, every thing is a part of the whole. we are prevented from seeing this because of the ego.
Further insight and greater understanding of the messages requires a continual and deeper commitment to being pure of heart and spirit in ones life and dealings with the natural world. This can be very hard to acheive for those immersed in the modern materialistic world.
Sacred plants will not transmit valuble information if you have not prepared your spirit for the journey, all you will get is uncodable images and sensations or worse, negative experiences which will affect your return to material reality.
Love nature's spirit and it will love you back.

Agree completely with Barker55. DMT by far gives most insight but I would suggest LSD if not VERY familiar with psychedelics.

For SWIM, MDMA/MDA, is what enlightened him initially (he could not test for the MDA but from the experience, deduced that it was present). He rolled for the first time 3 months ago at a rave, but rather than hugging people and dancing, self psychoherapy took precedence, and he was sent on a journey through his mind. For SWIM, it tore down mental barriers and filters that prevented him from piecing together knowledge and theories he had contemplated his whole life, but were never truly connected to his own life. He was able to come to terms with his place in the grand scheme of the universe, and it helped point him in the direction he wanted to go, but could not follow before.

Furthermore, it allowed him to look at his life from a new lens of his own creating, and was able to re-evaluate. He cast off much of the mental clutter that he could now see was not useful.

Amphetamines gave Y psychosis, but he did abuse them.
The psychosis was a bit mad, but fun, until Y got paranoia along side it.
Hallucinogens were used in ancient times, for ritual and insight etc
Much information can be found on the web, by googling for further info.
This site will have loads of info, in the psychedelics sections.
Amphetamines are only any good for those with things like narcolepsy, etc. Even then, they just mask symptoms.
Amphets give the illusion of focused thoughts when on them, but when off them, you get the mirror image, non focus.
