Drug info - vyvanse?

Could someone tell me about Vyvanse?What is it compared to and does it last awhile in your system?Please let me know some info on this drug.

Vyvanse is lisdexamphetamine, dextroamphetamine with a lysine attached. Thusly, it must first pass through one's liver for 'delysination' and to become active. Therefore, it takes a good hour and thirty minutes before one begins to feel it, and it rises fairly quickly.

SWIM has loved it compared to methylphenidate, dextroamphetamine, and adderall. He finds the high less euphoric, calmer, and more happyness rather than being wacked out. The come-down is calmer, but also has a slower rebound; one will not "pheonix" (crash, burn, raise) as quick. This can be a little irritating; but once assimilated into one's routine, because pleasant to work with.

SWIM found that dosage did not affect his euphoria or induce much of a stronger psychosis, the drug simply seemed to last longer. SWIM assumes this is due to a bodily mechanism against overused enzymes... SWIM eventually found the perfect dose that would begin affection at T + 1; peak at T+ 2:30; slope downward at T+ 4-5; and then become a noticible defeceit at around T+ 8-12. Anyway, SWIM would wake at eight, take the pills around that time, get good productivity out of the day, then fall into calmness later at night. Sleeping was very possible on his high dose, he will refrain from stating it due to SWIM's unusuality and extreme dosage.

Euphoria can get annoying, SWIM gets really compulsive with buying coffee, cigarettes, etc. Music is fantastic, he feels happy to see people, general stuff :P He has noticed his euphoria getting stonger and chaotic as he becomes more and more coherent with the substance :/

Anyway, theres no generic, little rec value (SWIM abused it on weekends and spent his next-day mornings on top of a building, at his university, listening to Coldplay), and its "time release" is different than anything else SWIM has experienced.

sounds great, are doctors as reluctant to prescribe it as the addys?

Less so, due to its relative inability to be insuflated, smoked, or injected. The recreational use is of a much lesser potential than other amphetamines.

One issue arrises : It is newer and non-generic; the former end of that point being an issue to 'prescribability'.

I tried Vyvanse as the first line of medicine for my ADD, and it was horrible. It lasted WAY too long, and spiked up and down for a good 13 hrs. Only on a 60mg dose, once in the morning!! I took it at 7am and it lasted till 11:00pm.

So i switched to adderall and my propper dose is 15mg IR 3x a day. My insurance is awesome so I get 90 brand name Adderall IR 15mg's for $15 =)
