Experiences - Swiy's experiences with adderall dosage.

Swim wants to compare his habits with others ppl's habits.

Does swiy take different doses for different things. And what does swiy consider a high dose? Does swiy set strict limits for his/her adderall use? What is the most swiy has ever taken in a 24 hour time span? Does swiy ever binge, and if so, how long? Does swiy consider him/herself addicted to adderall? What is swiy's cravings like, when are they the worst?


Swim's doses - on average days... doses are usually higher when stressed .

school - 50mg xr (his prescription) it gets the job done.
extensive homework, allnighters - 60mg xr (chewed).
social outings - 100mg xr (chewed).
days where swim just needs to "get away" - 200mg (chewed)

Swim's doses diffidently have different effects, different doses seem like different drugs. 30mg of xr slows swim's mind and body down. It also makes swim kind of depressed, shy, irritated, and pissed at the world. Swim would rather take no adderall than low doses of adderall, but he has to take it to keep his grades up. On the other hand, high doses of adderall make swim outgoing, happy, more hyper, and confident... High doses relieve stress, while low doses make stress and anxiety worst - Swim thinks this is probably caused by dopamine.


Swim trys to set limits for himself and usually follows them... but sometimes swim has days where he cant.

Swim doesnt consider to be a full blown addict, but he thinks he is beginning to become addicted. Swim graduates in 3 days so he will be able to take a break over the summer.

Swim's cravings are the worst when he is high, he just wants more. Suprisingly his cravings are the least during comedown... he is completely turned off from speed. He has moderate cravings when he is sober but these cravings are controllable and usually fairly easy to ignore.

The most swim has ever taken in 24hrs was 240mg xr (chewed)... swim chewed 100mg xr and redosed with 20's and 30's ever couple hours. When swim took 240mgs, it was no longer the "mellow" adderall high, it was intense euphoria and a rush. He no longer felt jitters, he had tremors and he felt warm and tingly inside. Swim monitored his heart rate the whole night, and it beat regularly and never exceeded 88 beats per minute... Swim knows this is dangerous and does not plan on taking this much again, he was having a really bad day.


Swim binges sometimes, usually when he has massive amounts of homework. The longest swim has ever binged was 4 days.

Thankfully swim has a chance to lower his tolerance this summer. He plans on quiting for a couple months. Quitting shouldn't be too difficult for swim because high school will be over... forever!
