Placement of Fentanyl Patch On Chest vs. Upper Thigh...

SWIM needs to know if it is dangerous to place the patches on your chest. The doc and the pharmacist say it is dangerous to place the patch that near to your heart, but in the instructions, one of the placements is on the upper chest. Placement on the upper thigh was suggested, but other accounts on the internet have said that it was terrible and caused w/d symptoms. So, is it dangerous to place on the chest, and for a female, where exactly would the upper chest placement be? Right on top of the breast? Answers would be greatly appreciated, as it's almost time to change the patch...
