what are the negative effects of heroin in your opinion?

the negative effects for swim included, prostitution/porn, withdrawals, inability to sleep without it, she used to hock her items of wealth, she never had any money, people looked down her for being an addict, she had to go to the chemist to collect methadone/bupe/whatever she was on for maintenance, she was incapable of working, it killed her sex drive, it numbed her emotionally- which is fine if you want to get rid of the bad emotions, however its terrible for taking away the good emotions, she was incapable of truly loving anything, she had to go to detox, sometimes she was ripped off by dealers/friends/associates, she had massive track marks that scarred pretty bad, she was very depressed whilst she was on it, she had no hope for her future, she was taken advantage of by dealers and other addicts sexually, she stole from people she didnt know, she took more than her fair share when she scored with others, it made her deceitful, she wanted to die, once she had an overdose and ended up in intensive care, she didnt complete her tertiary studies, she came across some bad people over her addiction, those stupid yawns that make your eyes water, blunt needles, etc.

swim will add more to this. theres another thread, as you may or may not have noticed, amassing the positives about heroin. will be interesting to see which thread ends up bigger tbh.

some people say that using heroin makes them happy, but when you weigh it up with the negatives/unhappiness, its not really making you happy. or is it?
