Effects - Strength of Drug & Sickness vs Amount of Pain

Hey There fellow DFr's,

Swim dislocated and fractured elbow a couple of years ago. SWIM was given 5 vials of morphine via IV on the way to the hospital and was in a **itloaded of pain. At hospital, swim was given IV of dilauded which final gave him some pain relief

Swim question to others is "Has swiy noticed that if the pain swiy is very high that it can lower the amount of sickness, dizziness, etc encountered from a drug such as morphine, etc. Now, If Swim was given the same combination it would probably cause sickness where if swim was in a great deal of pain that the side effects would be lower.

Have others encountered similar experiences and curious if any others have been on heroin and experienced similar effects as swim if truly in a lot of pain.
