Tea from seedling thinnings

SWIM has used pills, pods, and seeds a total of 20 times in the last 2 years, and has been without for about 2 months. That is to say SWIM knows what it is like to get high, but doesn't really have a tolerance.

Don't bother. If you are hard headed like SWIM, go ahead and try it, don't say you weren't warned. 4g (two handfulls) of seedlings in a blender with 750ml of water, strained = NOTHING. Do any of you really want to deal with more than 4g of seedlings? SWIM could barely stand killing that many potential pods, and with the way they are all growing so close to each other, wishes he hadn't. The taste required veggie juice to get it down. Much worse than any PT or PST SWIM has ever had the (dis)pleasure of dealing with.

PST, or PT that's it. Don't fool yourself into thinking there is an alternative. Even if SWIY cook down grams and grams of baby poppies and get something of use, SWIY would have been better off just using the PST or free farming to get PT.

For lack of anything better to do, SWIM will try turning the whole plant into a PT after the pods are ready, but he believes everyone who says that it is just not worth it.

Re: Tea from seedling thinnings

This information is easily found.

Only the mature pods and 10cm of the stem below the pod contain any significant levels of opiates. All other plant matter contains such a small amount that it has never been bothered with.

People have talked about making tea from leaves, or smoking leaves, making tea from whole plants or an extraction thereof. The fact of the matter is that none of this is consistently substantiated by people saying "woah, this was awesome".

Seedlings contain absolutely nothing at all, no opiates. Opiates are produced by the pod as a defense mechanism for the seeds when the plant has finished flowering to protect against consumption by insects and animals. It is solely produced for this reason. It performs no other function, either biological or otherwise in the plant, and is only produced in significant levels at this point of the plants life.

Peace

now thats funny. "dont eat me! i contain fun chemicals!" if only the pods knew that the only reason the great pod holocaust happens is because of their "defense mechanism"
