ketamine and weight

swim has a very high metabolism, it's hard for him to gain weight even though he eats well. when he used to smoke weed no matter how much he ate (as much as 8 times a day, some tough meals some light) he couldn't gain any weight so he quit smoking. now swim is using a little k (0.5 grams - 1 gram) on weekends but still eating when it's meal time, even after using a bit of k he would stop for a bit, eat some food and then a hour later go back to doing k.

swim wants to know if Ketamine use affects body weight? would swim gain weight if he stopped his weekend ketamine use? or does it not matter whether he does k or not?

Re: ketamine and weight

I'm somewhat of an amateur nutritionist, and my advice to you if you want to put on weight is to eat regularly, and eat lots of low-GI, wholegrain carbs.
If you don't want to sit down and eat 8 times a day, have an oat shake.
something like:
-Half a large pot of natural yoghurt
-60g oats
-1 banana
-250ml orange juice.
Blend using a hand blender.
Neck it in a few minutes flat.

K does not afect the metabolism, but the fact that you spend a lot of time zombied and slightly nauseous means that eating is not going to happen as often as it should. Maybe force an oat shake down when you remember.

Happy to help with diet plans if you like.

Re: ketamine and weight

SWIM is a chronic ket user, going through about 14g a week if not more. She snorts it (doesn't inject) and has used it daily for about 14 months.

She has gone from 13stone 3lbs to 10 stone 8lb.

She is really pleased at this! I would say ket does lose you weight as before SWIM used any drugs she tried every diet going, including starvation!!! and nothing ever worked.

14g of ketamine a week? That sounds VERY dangerous. Cut back or risk some serious negative health implications. Ketamine abuse has some well-documented side effects including memory loss, neural dysfunction and probably most alarmingly obvious, bladder problems which include urinary tract disease and ulcerative cystitis which is especially prevalent in women.

SWIMs already had a bladder infection, water infection (cyctisis_ and gastritis and gallstones. Very severe pain. SWIM is currently trying to stop. I emphasise trying. x
