Purity - Activated carbon filters

Swim has about 20lt ethanol/weed solution.
Swim is wondering if he could use an activated carbon filter (water purifying jug) 2 filter out some of the inactives waxes ect or would it take all the goodies aswell?

Seeing as carbon filters are used to absorb the smells from a grow, and seeing as they do this very well, SWIM would imagine it would remove quite alot of all psychoactive compounds and aromatic terpenes

Swim done a test run and the end product was a yellow liquid quite similar 2 honey oil will update wen evap is finished
