Other - Possible change from Ritalin to Adderal

My kitty is on a quest to find the right medication.
My kittys doctor has her on 5 milgs 3x daily of Ritalin.He intends to go up very slowly.
My kitty self medicated herself and found she loves 30 milgs of Ritalin.My kitty could possibly stay on this if my kitty could get 30 milgs 3x daily.My kitty was wondering if thats a safe dose??At this point she only takes it 2x daily {to be on the safe side.}
Please let me know how much you cats take, and if its worked for your kittys.
The reason I feel my kitty needs to take it 3xdaily is because it only lasts 3 to 4 hours.My kittys doctor usally does what kitty would like.
My kitty was on adderal once and she mentioned having some anxiety on it and he took her off.My kitty has since realized that there is no medication that takes away anxiety perfectly .....and my kitty has tried everything.{she hated Strattera etc {sucks!}But what could her doctor do ...
She complained about axiety .Kitty actually does love Adderal....{anxiety is managable.}
It helped kitty be very organized and focused....and kitty thought it lasted a good 12 hours in 2 doses of 15milgs.Kitty was happy with the Adderal and seriously would like to go back.
Anyone have any ideas on what kitty should say to get her doctor to ok Adderal again?
Kittys doctor pretty much gives her what she wants.. {very nice man} But to be on the safeside kitty was thinking of saying something like "All the meds kittys tried after the adderal gave kitty way more anxiety like stattera....Ritalin{Ritalin dosent last long}etc.
Kitty can let him know her anxiety wasnt that bad but it was anxiety due to a family problem.Kitty will let the doctor know Adderal was the best ,hands down.
Any suggestions for kitty about her conversation with her doctor will be welcomed and appreciated.

nine-hour patch is available. Those options would certainly be safer and easier for your cat.

Your cat appears as though she mainly wants a long-lasting solution? Has she ever considered vyvanse(lisdexamphetamine)? Vyvanse is a prodrug version of dextroamphetamine; meaning, its dextroamphetamine but comes with a natural 'extensive release'.

SWIM has been using it for a while now, and he definitely favors it above all other regimented amphetamines.

Wow Wespaw ,that sounds like a good medication that your on.Im glad its working for you.That extended Ritalin sounds like an option.
Kittys doctor ordered 10mlgs Ritalin 3x daily for her {over the phone}until she sees him next month. She will probably take it all at once knowing her.
Your right about kitty having to wants here.She might be leaning towards the Ritalin right now.Its about finding the right dose that works for kitty.Kitty knows 10 milgs will be to low but I will work with my doctor on this.

What is vyvanse like?What would you compare it to ?I have heard the best things about it.What mlg are you taking.Did you say it comes in a patch to?
