Oral use - Anyone dip snuff?

Nicaine is a heavy nicotine addict...

I used to smoke up to about a year ago, but the doc told me I had beginning stage emphysema (that's what I get for smoking 25 years).

So now I dip snuff (i.e. chew tobacco), & am sort of trying to quit that too. I bought some cheap nicotine gum off XXX but I keep going back & forth between that and the chew.

I despair of ever getting off nicotine permanently. I don't think it will happen. Made it for almost a year very early in my smoking career (a few years), since then I haven't been able to get past a few months. Last attempt I made it 36 days.

Nicotine is crazy addictive. Anyways, any other snuff dippers out there?

I tried both chew and dip before. Dont really like em. I consider myself a heavy smoker as well, and i figured i had a high nicotine tolerence. So this one time i bought some apple flavoured chew. It tasted good at first, then it worked its way into my gums, the stuff started goin down my throat, and finally i got such a crazy spinning head rush i thought the top of my head was gonna explode!!! lol. Na i just stick to my cigs.

i dip every so often used to do it alot but the gf said it was gross so i smoke usually but alot of my buddys chew so i do too still every now and then, my favorite kind is skoal straight longcuts

oh yes. SWIM used to live in northern california, where chew was more common than cigaretes(at the school he was going to, at least).

now he lives in the city, and one dosen't have the balls to attempt getting a can, since SWIM isn't able to purchase tobacco.

besides this, SWIM kind of likes chew more, because you don't have to have a light. just a few private moments, then nobody call tell you have a dip.

now SWIM smokes, since there are no other options.

I like chew sometimes. Worrying about someone thinking it's nasty was never a concern, so I just enjoy the flavor maybe a few times a week. Never really bought a can of my own, but I have some friends who chew.
