Need info on US laws about psilocybin/DMT please!
Kinda new here so I hope I get this right. Anyway, I've suffered from severe cluster headaches for decades and have tried everything! I even belong to some forums. But after research, I found many articles about the use of small amounts of psilocybin and LSD to help subside the pain of CHs. But the most recent study I could find was late 2007. And I looked up laws in the U.S. about mushrooms, and it varied from state to state and also depended on what form it was in i.e. dried, spores etc. and the laws I came across were also well over a year or two old.
Does anyone know what the most current laws are about possession of mushrooms and different stages today? I live in Indiana if that helps. Also, I came across this site this morning and joined when I was searching for information on mushrooms, and it led me to a page where they talked about something called "DMT." What is that? And how does it differ legally from mushrooms? I've tried everything for these clusters, and even though studies show they really help, no doctor in this country would prescribe it. Most doctors don't even know the true severity of clusters since they are so rare. But according to medical science, they consider clusters "the worst pain any human being could ever endure." And it's true! They don't call them "suicide headaches" for the hell of it. There was also a long list of different plants and the potencies. I don't know what most of it meant. It was posted here: http://www.drugs-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8680 If anyone could let me know about current laws on psilocybin in the U.S. (Indiana) and/or look at that link with the plant list and what would be close to mushrooms and legal, I would very much appreciate it. I'm desperate! These clusters are really killing me and many other sufferers. Thanks! |

Re: Need info on US laws about psilocybin/DMT please!
Welcome. PLEASE read toe rules about self incrimination.
Swim wonders if you are familiar with the group Cluster Busters? swim can't post links here yet so please google them. SWIM says mushrooms are illegal in indianna and under federal law. SWIM would suggest researching LSA containing seeds such as baby hawaiian woodrose. Probably the closest to legal route for SWIY. It is a sad state of affairs in this country that the only things that can help SWIY would make them a criminal. ![]() Good luck. |

Re: Need info on US laws about psilocybin/DMT please!
I think they all come under Scedual I drugs which mean that they have zero medical value and are dangerous to administer under medical supervision.
(Thats what the law says, I think the Scedual I lable is rather stupid.) Unless you have a DEA licence posession of them will end up in a whole lot of trouble . |
