Actually i posted basically the same question as you in the benzodiazepines sub-thread, but my problem is i can only get a few certain scripts and one of them aint xanax. Anyone know of other effective benzo's or Z drugs to kill the anxiety or stop a panic attack? Tamazepam? Nitrazepam? diazepam... is there any secret weapon out there?

Valium or diazepam has worked well for SWIM, knocks him right out, but in the proper dose SWIM can fight the sleepiness. Others in the other thread may have had more experience with the others you listed, as SWIM hasn't tried them all.

hey thanks for that mate. diazepam is a script that SWIM's gotten before, so should be obtainable for me to get again, well hopefuly.

how much valium does SWIY usually take to relax when at the end of a trip which starts to get a bit much? sometimes SWIM gets huge amounts of anxiety, and has had a panic attack on a couple of occasions.

Usually 10mgs is enough for SWIM, but he doesn't have a tolerance or any prescription for benzos.
