Effects - Feeling panicy days after smoking weed

Me and my mates always have it b4 a nite out cos it gives us all the giggles when we are in the pub or wherever. One of my mates gets really good weed which is alot stronger than any others ive tried.

We also smoke it on the morning after the nite out, kinda like a hangover cure, been doing this for quite a while until yesterday when we did it i felt really high, but about 30 mins after we stopped i suddenly started losing grip with reality and had to get my mind off it, i kept askin my mate to play some music on his phone just to get my mind thinking about sumthin else, i found myself not taking attention to anything around me as whenever he spoke to me i would always say "what" but never still take in what he said.

I managed to get out of it after a minute or so but for the rest of the day it i felt like it could happen again any moment. and today (day after it happened) its always in the back of my mind and feels like it can happen again. Its not nice at all, and i was just wondering if this feeling will go in the next day or so? I dont plan to do any more any time soon, but im really quite scared at the moment.

SWIM has experience of that one bad hit, Its a new smoker thing he thinks. SWIM says that he had this a few times when he smoked too much too soon, when he was a newbie smoker. Something to note is that this was when swim was very young, and therefore his body was not fully grown, so he believes probably more prone to negative effects more quickly.

Swim has not larried on MJ for some years now, It takes a while to know what your tolerances are, and if your drunk, no matter how much of a MJ Veteran you are, its very easy to over do the smoking. SWIM thinks its likely your body was in a fragile state when this happened. Weed is not a hangover cure, and as with any drug you are pulling toxins into your body, doing this when your body is already trying to fix a night of drink is just not a great idea.

SWIM advises looking into taking milk thistle and keeping yourself hydrated while drinking, and do what the rest of us do when we have a hang over. Nice cup of tea, a fry up and some pain meds.

It just sounds like stronger weed that SWIY is used to. When people have only smoked ok weed and then they try really good stuff they are sometimes blown away by the effects and it can last much longer, some even think its laced or something but its usually just good weed

Swim agrees with the others' thoughts.. Swiy's tolerance is probably still very low, only smoking occasionally, and it was probably just some good stuff. Swim only had problems with paranoia and herb while a newbie and taking meds.. Sudafed has even caused her problems. Maybe swiy had to take some cold medicine? IDK

Good idea by focusing on music (maybe try a video game too, if into that).. Wish swim could help more. That really does suck for swiy. Hate to hear that herb makes others paranoid - have heard it a lot. Sorry...

Swiy out to sweat all the beer out of his system, flush it out. Taking a toke after the night before does hit most swiy hard.

Tolerance with weed is not the same as other drugs. Swim smoked4years but just a few tokes of decent in the morning might well stop swim reaching the front door.

As for passing it off as 'strong weed', it could be some nasty smoke full of chemicals also. After all, the UK is infamous for contaminated weed/hash.

Even if it good weed, a lot is purposefully strong, too strong for morning afters.

A nice hash if you can find it, would be better IF you enjoy a smoke for the morning after.

Always eat something first, take a walk in the fresh air.

Then have a bong and watch Sean the Sheep, which passes for intellectual almost, if you wear glasses also.

Lay off the smoke if you find it leaves you less sociable or panicky. Bear in mind people who are stone cold sober panic also.

this reminds swim of one of his buddies a couple years ago. Everytime he got stoned he would panick and he said it felt like sandpaper was being scraped all over his body. One time he was so out of it he just hopped on his bike and biked around for hours to get his mind off of it.
