How safe are large doses of 4-HO-DMT,ive been told this is one of the safer RC's,is this statment true? What are some of the more common larger IV and oral doses that people have reported using? Has anyone tried combinign this with an MAOI like caapi?

4-HO-DMT is psilocin, which is a primary alkaloid in psilocybe mushrooms. There are many reports of mixing MAOI's with mushrooms to increase the effects and duration. Don't know right off hand what the LD-50 is for psilocin, but it should be easy to find with a search. Psilocin seems to be a pretty safe tryptamine and SWIM hasn't heard of any deaths associated with it.

I can add my own heard experiences to the general pool of knowledge:
this is known to be taken up to 120mg level by some astronauts (step by step of course) and no physical problems so far. I have personally tasted up to 70mg (many, many years ago) and it was intense but otherwise fine. This is only a few bits of data for the higher range, but I hope it helps some.
