Dizzy and heavy headed

For some reason every time swim inhales nitrous he gets really dizzy and feels like everything is going dangerously slow. One time, a few weeks ago, swim was panicking and was about to seek help because he felt sure it was very bad. Swim didn't get many of the nice effects either.

Was this because swim didn't get enough oxygen? Could this just be the stage before fainting?

Anyone know why this could have happened?
Thanks

Re: Dizzy and heavy headed

Based on Cally's (extensive) experience, I would say your instincts are correct. She thinks the whole "fusion of dualities" thing is primarily the brain running out of oxygen and, thus, processing power. She bases this on the perceived difference in experience between playing with balloons at home (and holding her breath) and getting a constant stream of n2o at the dentist's, which generally comes with a higher percentage of oxygen than that found in regular air.

She's found that the dentist experience is highly euphoric and dissociative, but not very visual or psychedelic. By contrast, her nitrous experiences at home often contain strange visions. She can't vouch for it personally, but it's her understanding that many inhalants - bad ones like gasoline and spray paint - lead to incredible hallucinations. She suspects there's a connection.

The most profound instance was one time when she was doing whippets while in the peak of a 30mg 2C-E experiment. She had an incredible cartoon vision of a semi-anthropomorphic horse clutching at her throat and choking and looking right at her and making odd flanging sounds. When she finally released her breath and inhaled some air, the scene immediately changed to the horse smiling and flanging in a thankful way.

It made her wonder what part of her body was "talking" to her via symbols...and, for that matter, what part of her body was her.

She says not to worry too much, though. She has passed out while holding her breath on nitrous several times, yet lives. As long as one doesn't do anything stupid (like putting a bag over one's head, or opening a tank in an airtight closet), one should be fine. Aside from the headache.
