This may be retarded but swim was wondering...

Swim was wondering - what is to stop swim going to columbia, peru, bolivia etc. buying a large amount of cheap high quality product and fed-exing it to his home address in the UK?

Swim heard you cannot be prosecuted for things sent to you in the post. Certainly there is a risk it will be confiscated, but a worthwhile one swim thinks.
