Effects - Opana & alcohol

SWIM is a pain management patient who doesn't abuse their medication, other than sometimes taking a little less on good days and a little more on bad days but never more than the alloted amount per month. SWIM has a pretty high tolerance after 4 years of oxycodone 3 x day and was switched from morphine (30 mg 2 x a day) to Opana 40 ER 2 x day about 3 months ago. Opana has increased productivity and swim finally is having more good days than bad and is very happy with the pretty steady pain management. The only thing SWIM hates and needs to ask: the warning on Opana says even OTC medication containing alcohol can kill someone taking Opana. SWIM is definitely not a drinker but every once in awhile enjoys a mixed drink and hates not being able to have one with dinner once in awhile on a special occasion or a beer on a hot day. With swim's tolerance, will one or two mixed drinks really kill swim or would swim be able to safely enjoy one or two?
