I thought it would be a good idea for people to share their advice on what makes a good trip sitter.
-Experience with the substance the person a sitter is watching, and experience with consciousness alteration in general are probably assets.
-Maybe some basic psychology knowledge, as well as basic first-aid (just in case).
-A trip sitter should be someone the tripper trusts and is comfortable with.
-A trip sitter should know when/if professional medical attention is required and not be reluctant to get help.
-A trip sitter should be patient and empathetic.
-A trip sitter should ideally be positive and in a good mood during the experience.
-A trip sitter should have the physical strength to restrain the tripper if necessary.
-A trip sitter should be prepared.
Any other ideas/suggestions?
