question: Will tolerance to alcohol drop, with reducing intake for 3-4 months?

SWIM has recently quit drinking so he can straighten a few things out and save some money to fix his car. he had a pretty big tolerance and was getting drunk almost everyday and was spending way to much money on boose since he wrecked his car. he'll be sober for about 3-4 months. so the question is will he be able to get drunk for cheep again or will it be the same. he hasn't stopped since he started so he has no clue
