Legality of Spice, JWH-018 and cp-47.497 per country

Spice and related cannabinoids have been banned in many countries now. I am not even sure in which. Please add information about in which countries JWH-018 and cp-47.497 are illegal.

Off the top of my head:

CP-47.497
Germany, Austria, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Canada, France, Russia, Channel Islands, Luxembourg, New Zealand

JWH-018
Germany, Poland, Austria, Argentinia, Brazil, Chile, Canada, France, Russia, Channel Islands, Luxembourg

Russia & Channel Islands are regulations rather than scheduling.

UK has announced a ban is likely to happen in days.

Which countries did I miss?

Re: Legality of Spice, JWH-018 and cp-47.497 per country

If they got HU-210 in them they are Sch. 1. Here what the lab results from the dea:

In addition to the above-named products, there are at least two other such herbal products: “Skunk,” and “Sence.” These products are currently being encountered nationwide. They, and the synthetic cannabinoids and cannabinoid mimic compounds they contain, are also the subjects of widespread discussion and speculation on the Internet. Based on anecdotal reports, HU-210 is hundreds of times more potent than THC; thus, the trace amounts detected in the above case are physiologically active, and these materials may be viewed as “stealth marijuana.” The reference standard of HU-210 used in this case was purchased from (source deleted). The ions selected for the analysis were m/z 446 (100%), 530 (molecular ion), 447, 474, and 356. Note that HU-210 is named in several different ways; for example: (6aR,10aR)-3-(1,1'-dimethylheptyl)-6a,7,10,10a-tetrahydro-1-hydroxy-6,6-dimethyl-6H-dibenzo[b,d]pyran-9-methanol. HU-210 is controlled (Schedule I) in the U.S. (See: hXXp://wXw.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/drugs_concern/spice/spice_hu210.htm), and products containing it and similar cannabinoids are controlled within the U.S. and in a number of other countries, including Austria, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. In addition to HU-210, there are at least half a dozen other compounds with similar structures, plus several unrelated compounds that have cannabinoid mimicking effects (notably JWH- 018 (1-pentyl-3-(1-naphthoyl)indole)), that are being used to adulterate the plant materials in “Spice” and similar products. An article presenting mass spectral data and background information on these compounds was recently published on line (not yet published in hard copy); see: Auwarter V, Dresen S, Weinmann W, Muller M, Putz M, Ferreiros N. “Spice” and other herbal blends: Harmless incense or cannabinoid designer drugs? Journal of Mass Spectrometry 2009.]

Re: Legality of Spice, JWH-018 and cp-47.497 per country

Where did SWIY get the info that Argentina banned Spice, JWH-018 and CP-47.497???
SWIM is from Argentina and never read on internet, newspapers or tv anything related to that, maybe SWIY just confused with Chile, actually Chile did ban Spice and the chemicals compounds related to it last april. BUT SWIM can't find any info from a ban for Argentina or even Brazil!!! Cold SWIY post a link or a source from that afirmation??? Because SWIM usually buy many herbal blends bags (around 15 per order!!!) from Europe!!! And SWIM doesn't want to get troubles with the law in here!!!!
Please SWIM will be waiting your response.
Thanks!

Re: Legality of Spice, JWH-018 and cp-47.497 per country

In New Zealand a publicity seeking, corrupt prohibitionist politician named Peter Dunne has lied to police, customs, ministry of health and the media stating the CP-47.497 is illegal under the analogue act, due to it being substantially structurally similar to THC.

While a case would likely be won in court, most vendors have simply switched to products containing only JWH-018 to avoid the costs and hassle involved should a case go to court.

Note: In New Zealand oranges, chocolate and many other everyday items are also illegal under the analogue act, though obviously not enforced. When a psychoactive substance gathers media attention, prohibitionist politicians often scream 'analogue', which generally results in vendors changing formulas but no charges being laid.

Swim thinks the government are scared to test a case as if they loose it will open the floodgates.

SPICE is still legal in the UK. SWIM isnt sure if there is any laws being passed
soon on the legality of spice. but it can still be bought in shops today.

It depends on the contents of the smoking blends SWIY smokes. Which blends does SWIY order? Most blends are JWH-018 based and should be legal where SWIY lives.

Re: Legality of Spice, JWH-018 and cp-47.497 per country

Both compounds, as far as swim knows (she's a romanian citizen and purchases legal blends which contain the mentioned compounds on a daily basis from smart-shops), are still legal in Romania, and due to the utter "I don't give a shit" attitude of all the politicians and so on of swim's country, they will probably remain legal for a long, long time. But cannabis is getting legalized!

Re: Legality of Spice, JWH-018 and cp-47.497 per country

Actually in Russia JWH-s, CP-s and it`s homologies are not banned. Instead of quality Analise of spice products government "believed" that it contains Blue lotus, saliva and Hawaiian Wood rose, or maybe it was payed by spice producers for `illusion of work` of government, this is a very big money, SWIM think so.
