Moral Dilemma - Ice distribution under guise of MDMA/Smart Drug

SWIM wasn't sure where to post this even though it is about Ice/4 MAR the question SWIM has is more of a moral issue.

SWIM wants to warn other SWIMmers about 4-Methyl-aminorex being sold in the Gainesville Florida area by the name Euphoria sold as MDMA/smart drug.

SWIM ran across a garage chemist who is selling 4-Methyl-aminorex by using the pitch that it is non-addictive, just like MDMA, and also cures crack addiction. The guy is dragging around a crack addict he claims to have cured by giving him 4-Methyl-aminorex. Replacing one addiction with another is not a cure. This chemical is being sold to students at the college (University of Florida) by telling them it is a smart drug.

He gave SWIMs sister a free sample (first hits always free) SWIM was unable to presuade her sister not to take it until she had researched it.

SWIM would NEVER turn someone in to the cops. She does feel that this guy is being a total douchbag. She has been loosing sleep over this. She feels that by not calling him out on it she is just as guilty. Everyone shoudl research a new drug before they injest it should she just let the dice fall where they may?

That guy is a dick and is doing the exact thing that got LSD, xtc and countless other drugs illegal. Still if swi your sister wants to give it a try, why not? It's just a drug and if she is a user already that shit probably isn't any worse

my cat agrees that it's totally morally wrong to pass one drug off as something else. it's lying, period.


she's familiar with the gainesville scene, lived there for a few years, and has seen this type of bullshit there many times. usually, those sorts of people are preying on the young college population that doesn't, generally speaking, know ehat the hell they're doing when it comes to most drugs.

SWIM is thinking of confronting him but she is pretty sure he knows what he is doing is wrong and just doesnt care. She hates to think anyone might end up hooked or worse. They are college students and you would think they would be smart enough to research it but the truth is most of them aren't.SWIM is all for anyone being able to use what ever drug they choose but selling something and saying its something else is wrong and telling them its not addictive is a lie. If SWIM doesnt say anything about it she worries she is guilty too.

my cat doesn't see much point on confrontation; that usually doesn't go too well with dealers....just warn as many people about the shit as swiy can.
